“My butt is my selling point” – Ghanian actress, Lydia Forson

lydia forson

The endowed Ghanaian actress has confessed she’s always happy seeing her butt and hip size, which she also sees as her greatest body asset.  In her words, My hips and butt are the part of my body that I love most because each time I walk close to the mirror and see how endowed I am, I just feel so happy. I can also say it’s my greatest asset because so many want it and they go for the butt-pants but mine is natural. Just like I love my Bottom and hip; I also do love my lips and eye lashes

"Don’t believe everything you hear" - Pastor Daughter, Sharon Speaks On Her Parent's Divorce

Sharon Oyakhilome, the 21-year-old daughter of Chris & Anita Oyakhilome, seems to have taken the divorce between case of her parents with rare grace. Three weeks ago, she had a bikini party to celebrate her 21st birthday in London. Via a social medium, Sharon has said: "Don’t believe everything you hear. Just remember that salvation is personal. It’s about you and God. There’s no third party." Sharon also buttressed her current state with a munch of her father’s article, 'Never Bother About Your Adversaries’ highlighting the verse "The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell” (Psalm 27:1-2)." The article further reads that: "In your life, you must learn never to give thoughts and undue considerations to the devil, his little demons and the activities of wicked and unreasonable men that seek to bring you down. You see, they don’t count at all! I want you to understand something about who you are and your life as a new creation; you’re the fulfilment of Scripture. Your daily life is the fulfilment of that which has already been written concerning you. That’s the understanding with which the Psalmist came to this conclusion in Psalm 27:1- 2. He declared, “the Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?’ "In other words, He’s my deliverer; He’s powerful enough to take care of me therefore who dares to stand against me? He’s actually asking, “Where is the devil now?” “Who’s so powerful to declare himself my enemy? Come out against me and God will be against you!" Hallelujah! Then He said, "When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell." What’s He saying? You know Jesus said prophetically concerning Himself, "…In the volume of the Book it is written of me, I come to do thy will O God” (Hebrews 10:7). This means when Jesus came, He stepped into the prophecy and began to live His life in it. He didn’t do anything the Word didn’t already declare about Him. He came to fulfil that which was already spoken. "In the same way, anybody that declares himself your enemy or anything that poses itself as your enemy will surely fulfil the Scripture of stumbling and falling. That means, you don’t ever have to bother about your adversaries; their end is assured. Don’t allow yourself be distracted. "Focus on what you’ve been called to do. God’s Word has been declared concerning them; the Bible says they stumbled and fell! So if they started out to be your enemy, they will have to end up stumbling and falling. You don’t have to pray about your enemies; like Jesus, all you should say is “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do. - sharon-oyakhilome-13

Ebola: Liberian woman found hanging in Lagos [PHOTOS

suicide-2
There was confusion on Bankole Street, Isheri-Oke, Lagos this morning when residents woke up to the sight of a woman hanging on a tree. The woman, popularly called Kate in the area, was found dead in a black sweater and orange skirt under a pear tree. Residents who spoke to Punch said the woman was a Liberian who worked in a sachet water factory before she died and that the woman did not live on their street. While they said that the woman had been sickly for some time, the residents said she did not appear to have any problem with anyone in the community. But after the outbreak of the Ebola disease that was brought to Nigeria by a Liberian diplomat, Patrick Sawyer, some of the people in the area opted not to have anything to do with her. One of the residents who pleaded anonymity said: “We see her in this neighbourhood every day. She always looked sick but people stopped selling to her after the Ebola outbreak. It could be because she was Liberian and looked sickly. This might have frustrated her.”Another resident who spoke to Punch after his request for anonymity was granted said: “She attended a church in the area and her church members still saw her yesterday. I used to see her every day in the dress she died in. She was sick and people in this area had avoided her, especially after the Ebola outbreak.”The PUNCH gathered from some landlords, who are members of the Isheri Oke Community Development Association, that the incident had been reported to the Isheri Police Division. Efforts to reach the Baale (head) of the area, Chief Albert Bankole, for comments proved abortive as he declined to speak to The PUNCH on the issue. The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Ngozi Braide, could not be reached for comments. Meanwhile, when Punch correspondent left the area around 11am, the woman’s body was still hanging on the pear tree.

Asamoah Gyan knows Castro’s whereabout, I will reveal truth – Lawyer

Legal practitioner, Dr. Maurice Ampaw has exclusively disclosed that come the end of this month, he’ll reveal the whole truth surrounding the where about of popular hip-life musician, Theophilus Tagoe aka Castro.  He also added confidently that he is aware the skipper of the Black stars, Asamaoh Gyan also knows.  In an interview with the XYZ Breakfast Show host, Moro Awudu, lawyer Ampaw said that he is surprised the police service has still not arrested Asamoah Gyan for questioning and interrogation.  The hip-life star got missing on the Volta estuary when he and a friend of his, Janet Bandu went jet skiing in the waters at Ada on 6th July.  Castro and Black Stars captain, Gyan aka ‘baby jet’ were at the Peace Holiday Resort at Ada, together with some friends, for recreation when the unfortunate incident occurred and despite intensive rescue operations they are yet to be found dead or alive.  Maurice Ampaw said upon his own investigation, he found out that a necklace worn by Castro was later found in a dustbin hours before he and his lady friend got missing.  “You cannot hide the truth, the truth is only one and I promise by the end of this month, I will come out with more revelations.  “If Ghana were a serious nation, we wouldn’t have allowed Marine Police to go and have fun on the sea, with the intention of searching for Castro’s body. Then Asamoah Gyan also picked a boat saying he was going to search for Castro, these will not happen in a serious country,” the ace lawyer opined.  Maurice Ampaw was on TV3 regularly every week day from 9am when the Supreme Court sat till 4pm when they rose, explaining the technicalities in the events that took place during the hearing.  Source: radioxyzonline

Journalists Are Now Punching Bags: Adom FM’s Afia Pokua ‘Vim Lady’ Attacked By NHIS Official (PHOTOS)

JOY NEWS – The past few days have been bad for some Ghanaian journalists as they bear the brunt of peeved individuals in the course of duty.  As we deal with Baffour Djan’s assault on a journalist over the weekend, we now add this to the discussions. Adom FM’s Afia Pokua and two other journalists were Thursday afternoon brutalised by the Manager of the National Health Insurance Scheme at Ablekuma in Accra. The three journalists were physically assaulted at Ablekuma, Flamingo- Zongo Junction. Nana Sefa, a reporter with the station, had gone there to report on the frustrations and complaints of persons who had been queuing since 3am to go through biometric registration, but had his mobile phone confiscated by Mr. Israel Kwame Laryeah, the Scheme Manager of the NHIS at that location. Mr Laryeah detained the reporter, insisting he would only release him if his Editor came there. But things took a different turn when Afia Pokua also known as ‘Vim Lady’ got there in the company of another reporter, Kofi Assan. According to Kofi Assan, the Scheme Manager released Nana Sefa after he and Afia intervened. Afia's bruised right thigh Above is Afia Pokua’s bruised right thigh. But the journalists walked out of the Manager’s office to a hostile crowd which accused the young reporter of going to hide in the Manager’s office, leaving them to their fate. Attempts by the new editor, Afia, to explain things to them infuriated Mr. Laryeah who pounced on her and assaulted her badly after they were bundled by the officials, while they sustained visible injuries. Hassan said he received severe beatings too when he tried to defend his editor. He said his clothes were torn in the ensuing scuffle. Meanwhile, Communications Manager for the NHIA, Serlorm Adornoo in an interview with Myjoyonline.com says, his outfit is yet to be briefed on the development and so could not comment on it. This is the second time in less than a week that journalists from the Multimedia Group Limited have survived attacks in the hands of public officers. Last Saturday, Felix Akunor, a driver with MultiTV and two journalists, Solomon Joojo Cobbinah and Festus Jackson Davies were arrested on the orders of the Mayor of Accra, Alfred Vanderpuije while covering a story on the plight of some displaced people at Mensah Guinea in Accra, following the demolition of their structures the previous day by city authorities. They have been charged with offensive conduct.

Louis van Gaal reveals he knew Radamel Falcao was money well spent after striker scored with only chance in first training session

Dawn of a new era: New signings Marcos Rojo (R), Angel di Maria (2R) and Ander Herrera (3L) join their United teammates for training at the Aon Complex

United have spent £6million to ‘hire’ Falcao from Monaco this season, during which time the striker will earn £280,000 a week at Old Trafford. It will cost them another £46m to exercise an option to buy him outright next summer.  Angel di Maria, Ander Herrera, Marcos Rojo, Luke Shaw and Daley Blind — whose appearance on Thursday was rather overshadowed by the man sitting to his left — also came through the door as part of a £150m summer spending spree.  This has inevitably led to questions about United’s transfer policy under Van Gaal and executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward.  That is unlikely to faze Falcao. After all, this is the fourth time he has moved clubs in the last five years.  This time last year he was being paraded as Monaco’s record £48m signing.

NMC meets over brutal attacks on three Adom FM staff

The National Media Commissionis holding an emergency meeting over the brutal attacks on three Multimedia Group journalists staff of National Health Insurance Authority at Ablekuma, yesterday.  Adom FM's Editor, Afia Pokua and two reporters, Kofi Assan and Nana Sefa were physically assaulted by the National Health Insurance Scheme Manager, Israel Kwame Aryeh and other officials at the Ablekuma District in Accra.  Nana Sefa, a reporter with Adom FM, a Multimedia Group unit, had gone there to report on the frustrations and complaints of persons who had queued since 3 am Thursday, to go through biometric registration, but had his mobile phone confiscated by Mr. Aryeh.  Sefa managed to get his Editor, Afia to intervene in the matter. But things took a different turn when she (Afia Pokua) got there in the company of another reporter, Kofi Assan.  According to Kofi Assan, the Scheme Manager released Nana Sefa after he and Afia had intervened.  The journalists walked out of the Manager's office to a hostile crowd, which accused the young reporter of going to hide in the Manager's office, leaving them to their fate.  Attempts by the News Editor, Afia, to explain things to them infuriated Mr. Aryeh who pounced on her and assaulted her badly. She sustained severe bruises on her right thigh with blood oozing from the cuts.  Afia Pokua's bruised right thigh  Assan said he received severe beatings too when he tried to defend his editor.  He said his clothes were torn in the ensuing scuffle.  Afia and Assan have since returned to the Kaneshie Police with their medical forms after receiving medical attention at the hospital.  It is for this reason, that the NMC is meeting Friday to pursue justice for the victims.  The Greater Accra Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Afia Tenge also noted that investigations into the incident were still ongoing to establish the facts of the matter.  The NMC Chairman, Kabral Blay-Amihere has however, described the incident and some others, as show of impudence and arrogance against the media in recent times.  Speaking on Joy FM's Super Morning Show Friday, he condemned the barbaric attack on the journalists and assured the NMC would ensure that justice prevails.  Meanwhile, the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) said the officers involved in the attacks have been interdicted as part of investigations into the matter.  Also, the Chief Executive of the NHIA, Sylvester Mensah has apologized for the assault on the Adom FM staff.
